My Experience with Ekadashi Puja and How It Changed My Month

I want to share something simple but very special from my life. Last month, I decided to follow Ekadashi Puja properly. Earlier, I used to hear from elders that Ekadashi fast and puja bring peace, focus, and blessings of Bhagwan Vishnu. But honestly, I never took it very seriously. This time, I thought, “Let me try it with full faith for one month and see what happens.”

I didn’t expect any big change, but what I experienced actually surprised me. It made my month smoother, calmer, and much more positive.


Why I Decided to Do Ekadashi Puja

Life felt a little messy. Too many things were happening at the same time—work pressure, small arguments at home, overthinking, and low energy.

I wanted something simple that could bring peace without taking too much time.

Many people told me that Ekadashi helps in:

So I decided to try it myself.

How I Did the Ekadashi Puja

I kept everything very simple.

I woke up early, took a bath, lit a diya, and prayed to Bhagwan Narayana. I chanted “Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya” and read a small Ekadashi story.

Food-wise, I kept it light with fruits, water, and simple vrat food.

There was nothing fancy.

Just a very peaceful morning and a calm mind.

What I Felt During the Day

This part was surprising for me.

Usually my thoughts run non-stop, but on Ekadashi day, the mind slowed down. It felt light and peaceful.

Small things felt beautiful—a clean room, sunlight, a cup of water, everything felt peaceful.

✔ My focus increased

I completed more work than usual and felt less irritated.

Ekadashi day became like a small break from all chaos.

How Ekadashi Changed My Entire Month

After following it for a few weeks, I noticed clear changes:

1. Less stress and overthinking

My mind didn’t get stuck on small problems. I started taking things easily.

2. Better control over emotions

I reacted less. I listened more. I felt more patient.

3. More positive energy at home

Even my family noticed that the atmosphere felt lighter.

4. Good things started happening naturally

Work felt smoother.

Tasks got completed faster.

Financial and personal matters became clearer.

5. A strong spiritual feeling

I felt more connected to the divine. Just doing a simple puja twice a month made a big difference.
